The first year of PokéCon we had Marriland YouTuber and founder of the Marriland information site for Pokémon, and Zarel, Creator of Pokémon Showdown, the popular online Battle Simulator!
During the second year PokéCon had Jake Paque, best known as Professor Sycamore from the Pokémon Anime , Zarel again and Zack Storch King of the Nerds contestant and Game designer.
For PokéCon's third year we had Eric Stuart, the voice of Brock and James from the Anime, Zarel and Zack once again.
On the 4th year we had Jason Paige, singer of the original Pokémon Theme, Stuart Zagnit, the original Voice of Professor Oak, The National Dex YouTubers, Zarel and Zack once again!
For the fifth year...
Covid hit...
And we had to go on Hiatus.
But! As of 2022 we have started hosting our first PokéCon MiniCon on Pokémon Day 2/27/22!
These are smaller events with a focus on Gaming, Vendors, and Artists!
Masks and Vaccinations are Required!
For the time being we will continue with these a few times a year!
So keep a look out!

MN PokéCon was founded by the MPLS Pokémon DS League and the UMN Pokémon Club and has transferred to Elite4 Limited's Control as of 3/14/2016.
Elite4 Limited is a Non-Profit LLC formed by David Echo O'Donnell (Founder of the MPLS Pokémon DS League) and Guangcong Luo (Creator of Pokémon Showdown) for the expressed purpose of improving the local Pokémon Community and running events for the Community , PokéCon, Launch Parties, Tournaments, etc.
